Preserving Legacies

with Care.

Knox Law and Caregiver Support Services provide coordinated legal and care solutions for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and the families who support them. Our integrated team helps clients plan ahead, navigate care decisions, protect assets, and manage life transitions with clarity and confidence.

Led by North Carolina Board-Certified Elder Law Attorney Caroline Knox, our firm brings together elder law, care management, and financial oversight in one place. This connected approach allows us to support both the legal and practical realities of aging.

We assist clients with:

  • Asset preservation and Medicaid planning
  • Estate planning
  • Estate and trust administration
  • Guardianship and fiduciary services
  • Care management and coordination
  • Financial management support

Thank you for taking on our small Medicaid case, with swift necessity and due diligence. Your fast action provided our family with both vital knowledge and a profound peace of mind. We now know our mother’s future is secure. We wish to thank Mary Lou and the rest of your helpful staff and will direct others in need of elder law assistance your way.

A Coordinated Approach to Aging

Families often need more than legal documents. They need guidance through changing health needs, financial responsibilities, and life transitions. By combining legal strategy with real-world care coordination, our team provides continuity at every stage.

Whether you are planning ahead or responding to an immediate need, we are here to help you move forward with confidence.

My Care Manager has been by my side, helping me with everything from doctor’s appointments to keeping my finances in order. It’s more than just practical support— it feels like having a caring friend who truly understands my needs.

Filling the gap when there are no other options

SAIL is our structured support model designed to help older adults live safely and independently with proactive oversight. Through coordinated care management and financial monitoring, SAIL provides reassurance for individuals who want to remain independent and for families who want consistent support without crisis-driven intervention.

SAIL was established by Caroline Knox after recognizing a growing gap between families who needed structured oversight and those who did not qualify for public assistance but still required support.

I want to THANK YOU for your guidance, support and patience. It was a true pleasure to work with you, and I will recommend you to my NC family and friends.
